Founded in 2014 by a team of entrepreneurs and volunteers led by Oleksandr Gadomsky.

When the company was founded, as the hybrid war against Ukraine was beginning, the designers’ first and main task was to invent their own SICH-Tourniquet design: a tourniquet that could, in any weather, wet, snow-covered or dirty, in heat or extreme cold, quickly stop massive limb bleeding and withstand extreme loads.

After stages of development, testing and consultations, the team found an effective overall solution that later became the original, patented SICH-Tourniquet design.

The story of the SICH-Tourniquet is the story of many people — designers, medics, soldiers and volunteers — united for a high purpose: saving human lives.

During Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the company did not stop working for a single day and kept supplying the military with quality hemostatic tourniquets. 

Under occupation, and later under missile strikes and without electricity, the employees of «SICH Ukraine» kept producing the SICH-Tourniquet.

In 2023 alone, «SICH Ukraine» manufactured and delivered more than 500,000 tourniquets to military units, both in official Ministry of Defense IFAK kits and as separate batches for military needs.

It is fair to say that today the SICH-Tourniquet is the most widespread bleeding-control device in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

And it has already saved thousands of lives.
